On Friday night the under 14 Div 2 team played Western Juniors at Taringa. They had a great win and continue their chance at playing finals.
Goal scorers for Jimboomba were Blake, Jacob S, Sam Craig James G, Tim M and Karl.
Player of the match was awarded to Jacob Tobin.

The under 16 boy’s beat Coorparoo on Sunday in what was a great game and has put the under 16’s one game clear on top of the ladder.
Mitchell Johnson played a strong game after returning from injury while Brett Boyle, Aaron Hughes, Scott Bode, Brandon Stewart, Steven Sedmak and Aaron Kirby played well also.
Goal scorers for Jimboomba were Lochlan Gautrey, Simon Philippi, Aaron Kirby, Jake Madden, Mitchell Brodtman, Aaron Hughes, Brandon Stewart and Steven Sedmak.

Well its good to be back after a bit a break. I hope you all had a nice holiday break and are all rearing to get back into football. ! I know i am….. it was also wonderful to come back and play on home turf. We played Aspley 2 who are currently no top of the ladder by 4 points. They came out thinking that game was going to0 be a little easy, but I know the Red backs had a little more determination then Asply did and we came home the victors! Asply 2 3-5=23 to the Redbacks 7-4=47

BEAUDESERT Concrete Pumping sponsored under 16 Redbacks beat West Juniors by 28 points at Toowong on Friday night.
Despite missing eight regular players through injury and illness the Redbacks led for most of the game before eventually winning.
The side was boosted by the presence of Jacob Knights and Cole Stewart from the under 14 side.
The Redbacks maintained their high intensity for the ball throughout and all players had a high work rate displaying good commitment and courage.
Aaron Kirby, Steven Sedmak, Aaron Hughes, Scott Bode and Cody Smit were the Redbacks Best Players.
Josh Tiller made his much anticipated return to the Jimboomba side after missing the entire first half of the season through illness.
Aaron Kirby scored five goals for the Redbacks while James Gautrey kicked 2 and Brandon Stewart and Mitchell Brodtman each scored one.

Under16s Redbacks scored a come-from-behind victory on Friday night to defeat Mayne by four points.
The Redbacks kicked six goals in the final quarter to win the game, despite being down by as much as 44 points at one stage.
Mayne dominated the first half of the game, however a determined and disciplined attacking display in the second half allowed the Redbacks to escape with the win.
The team ran and tackled well throughout and played a direct style of football which delivered the ball well to the forward line.
Cody Smit, Aaron Hughes, Brandon Stewart, Scott Bode and James Gautrey were among the Redbacks best players and led the comebacks.

Sunwest properties sponsored under 9s played Beenleigh blue at Jimboomba park on Saturday.
The game was a hard fought affair, however the Redbacks could convert their hard work into points.
Liam Towner and Brock Wearing scored one goal each while Mitchell Rickson, Matthew Harris, Chris Devlin and Brendan Harris and all had strong games. players of the week went to Ben Raynor and Brock Wearing.

Struddys sports sponsored under 8 redbacks played logan cobras at Beenleigh on Friday night. the team was captained by Isaac Higgins. player of the weak was Bailey Hayes.

S.Redbacks under 12 played Mayne at Nundah on Saturday. Considering having a couple of our strong players away our team went out in high spirits. Mayne proved to be the stronger team with alot of run all over the field. By half time Mayne were 22 points ahead to finish the game 6-11=47 to Redbacks 5-10=40.
Players of the match went to Sean Bridges, Callum Gautrey and Nathan Byrnes. Leading goal kickers were Luke Peoples, Josh Brookes and Bradley Leedham with one each and Alex Bond with two. Congratulations to Mayne for a gutsy effort throughout the game and proved to be the stronger team on the day.
We have two weeks off now for school holidays so rest up team. We will see you at training on Wednesday the 4th July at 4.30pm at Jimboomba, for those who can make it. Our next game will be at HOME against Aspley at 10.30 am, 14th July.
Please be there by 9.30am wear BLACK shorts and come along refreshed and ready to play football.
